like all the rest but they don't really stand out so order:Maeve, Emmaline, Eloise, Emma, Emily, Kate

Emmaline is no where near as gorgeous as some of your other choices - too frilly

Emma, Maeve, Eloise, Emily, Anya and Alice are lovely
Kate is nice too but has dated more than the others (in my opinion based on looking at the official statistics over the last 20 years) and will sound like an uncool mum name to the next generation, unlike names like Emma which has held its appeal. A little Kate is likely to be the only one in her school but everyone will say to her "oh that's my 50 year old mums name" "that's my aunties name" "that's the dinner lady name"

I like them all except Maeve. Not over keen on Lydia either.

I’d put Emmeline top (love nn Emme)
Then Maeve, Anya, Kate, Eloise, Lydia, Emma, Emily, Alice

All lovely names though!

Emma, Maeve, Kate & Alice are my favourites

Katherine (Kate) is timeless, not dated at all. I like them all, I think Alice is my favourite and Eloise the least. There is a potential for Eloise to be shortened to Ellie, and Ellie's are everywhere.

Emmeline - I like but they will end up being Em/Emmy which is a bit dull

Emma - nice but nothing special
Maeve - ok
Eloise - I don’t mind this
Emily - nice, classic
Kate - I would prefer this to be short for something
Anya - nice
Lydia - not keen on this but I’ve known several Lydias who’ve really annoyed me
Alice - a bit boring and wet imo
Emmaline - really dislike this

Of your choices, I’d go for: Emily, Kate, Eloise, Maeve and then Emma.

I love Alice, Emma and Lydia, but the rest I could take or leave tbh.

Emma - classic
Maeve - likely to be very popular
Eloise - not keen, too frilly, another El name. Prefer Louise.
Emily - classic but I much prefer Emma
Kate - classic
Anya - ok but a bit nothingy. Much prefer Anna, Ann and Annie
Lydia - nice but will be Lyds.
Alice - classic
Emmaline - it's Emmeline and I much prefer Emma and Emily

Both DC's names are on that list.

To be totally honest Maeve is the only name I like, I think it’s beautiful.
This is just my opinion however, I don’t mean to offend anyone.

In order of preference, I love all of these.

These three are ok but seem to be of another time.

These three are a bit meh to me.

From fave to least fave:

Anya - simple, elegant and familiar but not too common

Alice - lovely, timeless but very popular

Maeve - simple, strong and unfussy
Kate - like but I’d go for Katherine, which is really quite unusual nowadays

Emma - nice, classic but possibly a bit dull

Emmeline - love the Pankhurst link but too frilly for me
Eloise - too prim and girly
Emily - inoffensive but a bit weak and insipid
Lydia - never been a fan - feels heavy and clunky somehow

Any of these three :)
