I love these names but are they too much to live up too?

Would consider Zeus for DS2.

Far far too much

ilovecake122 · 14/06/2020 18:12

Way way too much. Please don't inflict this on your children.

Just a tad.

Skyliner001 · 14/06/2020 18:14

Yes.

Lavenderpurple · 14/06/2020 18:14

Yes.

pooopypants · 14/06/2020 18:15

Don't be THAT parent, for the sake of your DC

Midnightdream · 14/06/2020 18:19

Yes. Especially Zeus.

Gunpowder · 14/06/2020 18:23

I love Apollo! Wouldn’t do Zeus.

Leobynature · 14/06/2020 18:23

I love them!

Viviennemary · 14/06/2020 18:24

Too much what? But yes.

itssquidstella · 14/06/2020 18:25

Great as a middle name but too much as a first name!

Aris (Ares) is a perfectly normal modern Greek name, though. One for the list?

FrostyGirl66 · 14/06/2020 18:25

Apollo was Zeus' son, so it'll be weird for that reason alone.

BobbieDraper · 14/06/2020 18:31

Samuel L's character in die hard 3 was called Zeus, wasn't he?
Nobody thought that was too insane!

But really... would you really call your kids that?

Onthetrain75 · 14/06/2020 18:33

Save them for your dog’s name!

octobersky19 · 14/06/2020 18:35

I don't like them, sound like bull dog names sorry!!!

toastofthetown · 14/06/2020 18:39

Zeus is too out there for me. I think Apollo seems more usable - it's picking up slightly to having about 15-20 babies per year and I can see it rising. Mythological names are a current trend and I can see Apollo rising on the back of that, especially as it ends with an 'O', which catches another name trend. I seriously doubt it will become the new Arlo though!

ILoveStickers · 14/06/2020 18:41

I know a pair of dogs called this Smile

I met a Greek guy once called Phoebos, which is a name for Apollo.

FourTeaFallOut · 14/06/2020 18:46

GrinGrinGrin

You'll look demented yelling those names across a playground!

Quackersandcheese3 · 14/06/2020 19:09

Save them for pets. They are lovely names though.

Twooter · 14/06/2020 19:10

Yes

PaulinePetrovaPosey · 14/06/2020 19:32

Too much. I'd feel sorry for the kid, but secretly admire you.

PhoenixBuchanan · 14/06/2020 20:48

Apollo is usable IMO. Zeus is a step too far!

Kittymitty38 · 15/06/2020 23:09

Apollo and Zeus are my cats names! 😂🤣

FAE18 · 15/06/2020 23:10

Love Apollo
