it can't be the numeral (eg has to be One, not 1), it must be English and natural numbers. Pi and i for example are banned (don;t ask why, I didn't wrtore the rules...Grin)

no abbreviations or portmantaeus, however hyphenation is allowed.

Pick a boy's name and a girl's name

my boy would be Five

my girl would be Nine or Seven

Miriel · 30/05/2020 16:46

Within the rules, Forty-Two.

Breaking the rules, either Graham's Number or twins Elf and Zwölf. Grin

Doubtingmustafa · 30/05/2020 16:46

Sixtine obv because it’s an actual name

AragornsManlyStubble · 30/05/2020 16:48

Six hundred and sixty six would have suited all of my children Grin

Nowisthemonthofmaying · 30/05/2020 16:49

Haha I was going to say Sixtine!

HollysBush · 30/05/2020 16:50

Twenty-two has quite a nice ring to it I think.

HollysBush · 30/05/2020 16:51

For a girl.

MrsTerryPratchett · 30/05/2020 16:52

Eight for DD. Because as we say here, if you put it on it's side it's infinite.

DioneTheDiabolist · 30/05/2020 16:54

One and Two because I have no imagination.Grin

slartibartfast · 30/05/2020 16:55

I'm with @Miriel, obviously. Forty-two it has to be

HollysBush · 30/05/2020 16:55

You can’t have a number two! Think of the bullying at school.

Thatcouldbeme · 30/05/2020 16:55

For a girl I'd pick Eight, just cause it's my favourite number and it sounds more feminine I think?

For a boy, Zero. It's sounds more like an actual name.

sunflowersandtulips50 · 30/05/2020 16:58

Four for a boy. Reminds of four from divergent which I quite liked.

Five for a girl - as it would sound good calling four and five for there tea 😂

metronome1 · 30/05/2020 16:58

Eleven obviously. El for short.
Hello stranger things fans.

FromIbizaToTheNorfolkMaud · 30/05/2020 16:59

Yup, FortyTwo.

Aquamarine1029 · 30/05/2020 16:59

Seven for a boy or girl.

MrsRogerLima · 30/05/2020 17:02

Five

Mammyloveswine · 30/05/2020 17:03

Nine and Seven as they are my favourite numbers!

InglouriousBasterd · 30/05/2020 17:04

Eleven, Elle for short a la Stranger Things!

zen1 · 30/05/2020 17:06

Three for a boy, five for a girl.

Whitelisbon · 30/05/2020 17:06

One, Two, Three, Four and Five.
The dts can fight out Three and Four between themselves.

slartibartfast · 30/05/2020 17:12

Dear @00100001, your name reminds me that when our, err, let's call him 101010, was small, he could be bored into slumber by counting backwards from 1100100 to zero. To keep me awake, it's to be done with no mistakes, or else you have to start again. No gaps in the numbers, and no slacking to think. So it goes 110010011000111100010 ... etc. And there's a really good bit almost halfway ... 10000011000000111111111110111101.. and downhill from there to 0. I recommend the technique for all our numbered friends.

cindyloohoo · 30/05/2020 17:17

Boys name would be Forty, like the character from You.
Girls name would be Twenty.

I actually really like the names of the twins in You (Forty and Love) but am not a tennis fan so would seem incredibly stupid to use them!

Buyitinbamboo · 30/05/2020 17:21

I'd have Fourty for a boy too. Probably Three for a girl

steppemum · 30/05/2020 17:23

dd woudl have to be seveny-three, because she is a number nerd and says it is a perfect number.

She could rattle off all the reasons why, none of which I can remember (to do with prime and factors or something)

So, seventy-three it is.

ds, he would have to be ninety-nine. (don't know why)

dd2, hmm, she would be Ten. (sounds firm and clear and classy)

MrsAvocet · 30/05/2020 17:29

DD would be 5-6-7-8
DS1 would be 4-4
And DS2 would be 48-17
Thiugh those are all based on what I know about them now. Not sure what I would have chosen at biryh!
