A friend (not on MN) is looking for a middle name for Bluebell. She doesn't want any opinions on the name so if you don't have anything nice to say just don't say it. She can't think of any she likes so get suggesting!!

I think it works with a super traditional middle name somehow.

Bluebell Cassandra is very nice!

lifesnotaspectatorsport · 21/05/2020 18:43

Without commenting on the name itself, I would definitely advise choosing a more conventional middle name just in case the girl hates it when she grows up.

Make it female? The only bluebell I've ever met was male.

RoosterPie · 21/05/2020 21:08

I think it needs to be something short such as Bluebell Anne or Bluebell Mae

SiaPR · 21/05/2020 21:12

Middle names are so unimportant. Why doesn’t she go for a family name to honour someone? Otherwise they are never used so are meaningless.

borntohula · 21/05/2020 21:14

Does she want to stick with the floral theme or would she prefer something more traditional? Agree with PP, it sounds better if it's one syllable. Bluebell Mae does sound really pretty.

I would definitely choose a more traditional middle name to give the child more options a they get older.
