Hi, everyone! I love the name Lilith, but I can’t decide on the middle one.
Which one do you like best?

Lilith Rhiannon
Lilith Rose
Lilith Celeste
Lilith Raine (If you like this one, then how do you prefer to spell it - Raine or Rain?)

Other suggestions are welcomeSmile

Rose

Pemba · 19/05/2020 15:12

Celeste goes best I think. I like Rhiannon, but maybe it's too different a name type from Lilith? Also like the name Rose, but with Lilith would cause confusion with the name Lily Rose (like Johnny Depp's daughter).

I dislike Raine anyway.

Lilith is a lovely name and a brave choice. You know the history, right? I would suggest Lilith Eve.

Magicbabywaves · 19/05/2020 15:19

Celeste

Lilith is the name of a demon, do you know that? So has that witchy goth vibe going on. Not that that’s a problem to me.

MrsTerryPratchett · 19/05/2020 15:23

I like the symmetry of Lilith Celeste.

I also love the name. I know its origin and still like it. There's worse things to wish on girls then power and rebelliousness. Abrahamic religions don't exactly celebrate women's power, so why not call her Lilith?

Than FFS

guanciale · 19/05/2020 15:34

celeste

Jocasta2018 · 19/05/2020 15:37

I think Lilith Rose?

The name is lovely but as a fan of both Cheers & Frasier will be forever known in my mind as Frasier's superb ex-wife!

helpmum2003 · 19/05/2020 15:41

Pretty name! I would go simple as Lillith requires careful diction. And starting with a consonant.

So Rose on your list.

Possibly

Fay
Grace
Jane
Kate
Mary
May

My DD 20 is a Lillith. She was going to be a Lillith Rose but I ended up giving her a middle name from the directly above post. It is the name of my friend who was my birth partner.

I like Lilith Eve though.

Scruffyoak · 19/05/2020 15:49

I love Lilith. It's now my cats name but Lilith Jade was on my list!

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 19/05/2020 15:50

I always worry about giving a child a name like Grace though, just in case it doesn't suit them. It would be unfortunate to live as a chunky, clumsy Grace.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 19/05/2020 16:23

Lilith Rose.

Lilith Sofia
Lilith Abigail
Lilith Pearl
Lilith Jane
Lilith Amber
Lilith Belle

weepingwillow22 · 19/05/2020 16:26

Lilith Celeste is a great oxymoron

TheVanguardSix · 19/05/2020 16:40

Lilith Rose is my favourite on your list.
Lilith Helsa
Lilith Enid
Lilith Vida
Lilith Celia
Lilith Wren
Lilith Skye

FourPlasticRings · 19/05/2020 16:44

I think there are too many ls in Lilith Celeste. I prefer Lilith Rose but I'm not a huge fan of any of the profferred middles tbh.

WreckTangle95 · 19/05/2020 16:44

I love Lilith Rhiannon!!!!!!

Nannewnannew · 19/05/2020 16:49

Lilith Grace

missmouse101 · 19/05/2020 16:49

Celeste. Every other girl has Rose as a middle name and it's so uninspired. Lilith Dawn or Lilith Tamsin are nice?

BabyLlamaZen · 19/05/2020 17:06

Celeste or Raine sounds best. Rose is incredibly overused as a middle name.

MaMaMyCorona · 19/05/2020 17:24

Can I just say I love the name lillith! And I like all middle options

SerendipityJane · 19/05/2020 17:25

Lillith Scarlet.

LotusClover · 19/05/2020 18:40

Not a fan of Lilith, it's a bit of a mouthful - especially when paired with some of the middle names you're considering. I prefer Lily, Lillian or Lilliana.

Lilith Raine is the only combination that I think has a nice flow to it. I'd definitely spell Raine with an e.

Roselilly36 · 19/05/2020 18:53

Not idea on a middle name OP, but Lillith is gorgeous, lovely name. How about Lillith Hope?

FTstepmum · 19/05/2020 18:54

Yikes! Lilith is the name of a demon/devil that requires some kind of human/blood sacrifice.

Would you rethink it? Just thinking, it might not have the best connotations for your girl as she grows up?

What about Lilah, Lillian, Lulu, Lilac, Lizanne? Xxx

FourPlasticRings · 19/05/2020 19:02

@FTstepmum from a feminist perspective she can be viewed as a bit of an icon. She's arguably the strongest female character in the old testament, who refused to submit to Adam because she viewed him as an equal and then got punished and slandered for it. Lots of people choose the name because of its origins, rather than in spite of them. Some, obviously, don't care either way.
