I love Heidi.
Second choice would be Caitlin. Pretty name, Not overused.

I’ve always had an irrational strong dislike to Tilly, I loved Matilda but wouldn’t use it because of it being shortened to Tilly.

Chloe was way overused a few years ago so hear it all the time.

Not keen on Summer, always sounds like a stage name.

DramaAlpaca · 18/05/2020 14:06

I agree with TeaAddict, Arabella is the best of the lot so far.

thumbelina03 · 18/05/2020 14:14

I prefer Elodie - more unique than the others. Closely followed by Tilly.

I don't like the name Summer, sorry. It's not as classy as the others.

marmiteloversunite · 18/05/2020 14:35

I like Heidi best. What about Sabella?

zscaler · 18/05/2020 15:04

Caitlin - really pretty, strong, classical name

Chloe - pretty name but ruined for me because I was bullied by a Chloe!

Elodie - really pretty but maybe a bit odd if there is no french connection?

Heidi - gorgeous, not too common, I’m a big fan

Summer - I don’t love this, I find it slightly too out there

Tilly - fine as a nickname for Matilda or Ottilie, but very twee and diminutive if given as a name in its own right

daphnerose · 18/05/2020 16:23

Heidi is gorgeous and Elodie comes second. For me, Caitlin is wayyyy overused with its many variations and it always gives me a headache. Summer is also very popular but I feel it would be hard to shorten. Chloe can have the adorable nickname Coco.
But yes, Heidi all the way

summersun7 · 18/05/2020 16:27

@DramaAlpaca and @TeaAddict235 My only worry is that Arabellais quite "frilly" and would inevitably be shortened to Bella?

Love Summer
Tilly is sweet but a nickname for Matilda imo
Caitlin- sorry I think Jenner instinctively
Heidi and Elodie are nice
Chloe is very nice but very 80/90s imo- I went to school with loads.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 18/05/2020 16:32

Arabella is nice but if you don’t like Bella I’d steer clear

anxietrist · 18/05/2020 16:32

I like Chloe, Tilly & Heidi

Flappingflamingo · 18/05/2020 16:37

Heidi
Elodie
Chloe

hopelessatthinkingupusernames · 20/05/2020 19:02

Aww my favourite is Caitlin, sad you’ve discounted it. My favourite one left is Chloe.

SnowdropFox · 20/05/2020 19:18

I like Arabella, for other nns you could have
Belle
Arra
Or Arri

Personally I think wee Arri is cute (yes I realise it sounds like Harry without an H).

Ahe might end up with a completely different nn anyway, such as one from her surname.

summersun7 · 20/05/2020 19:52

@hopelessatthinkingupusernames There was such little love for Caitlin in the whole thread. Literally only liked by you and 2 other people 😢

Elodie
Caitlin

BrandyandBabycham · 20/05/2020 19:58

Elodie is lovely & unusual. I like Heidi too.

user495275 · 20/05/2020 20:10

I love all except Tilly, which I agree is cutesy and twee and not really a full name. I'm not keen on Arabella either, it's very princessy and a bit pretentious compared to your other names which are lovely.

mortforya · 20/05/2020 20:46

Definately Arabella, Bella for short is gorgeous..
Chloe-boring too many
Summer-sorry but ridiculous name, can't imagine a lawyer or a teacher or a doctor called summer, worst of the lot
Tilly-sounds like a cats name
Heidi-way too cutsey
