Both nice, I prefer Flynn or maybe Finn, if it makes any difference to you.

Pineappletree33 · 20/04/2020 08:23

Flynn Smile

HandfulOfFlowers · 20/04/2020 08:25

I like both, but think that Flynn will probably serve him better into adulthood. Rafferty is nice for a boy, but perhaps a bit childish for a man.

pictish · 20/04/2020 08:25

Flynn. Rafferty is a bit fussy.

WarriorsComeOutToPlayay · 20/04/2020 08:37

Flynn definitely. Rafferty sounds like he would be born wearing red trousers.

LuluBellaBlue · 20/04/2020 08:49

I love both!

MadameButterfingers · 20/04/2020 08:55

Flynn. Rafferty will be Raff, as in riff-raff.

Whatsyourflava · 20/04/2020 09:07

Both nice. I prefer Flynn

Blursula · 20/04/2020 09:12

Flynn!

covidcougher · 20/04/2020 09:17

Rafferty because Flynn would make me question if I've misread it and wether it was Finn.

Coolcatsandkittens · 20/04/2020 09:19

Rafferty. I loved it for DS2 but DH wasn’t so keen so we settled on it as a middle name. There is a Rafferty at one of the playgroups we go to and I love listening to his mum call his name Smile

AllTheUserNamesAreTaken · 20/04/2020 09:19

Flynn is a fab name. Rafferty is a bit....fluffy and pretentious

DoctorBambino · 20/04/2020 09:31

Flynn, unless you are very posh indeed, the Rafferty might be ok

Nachonacho · 20/04/2020 10:10

Thanks so much for the opinions so far! Looks like Flynnis taking the lead, Rafferty being fussy is my concern although I do love Raff for short.. the red trouser comment made me laugh and I know exactly what you mean @WarriorsComeOutToPlayay Grin

Plus I think if you asked most (not all) blokes if they’d prefer their name to be Flynn or Rafferty, I’m sure they’d say Flynn.

Emthebaker · 20/04/2020 10:19

I like both, but prefer Flynn :)

Finnemoo · 20/04/2020 12:23

Both lovely but I vote Flynn too.

123Dancewithme · 20/04/2020 12:28

Flynn. I like Raff but not Rafferty.

ellanwood · 20/04/2020 12:31

I prefer Rafferty. What a great name.

littlealexhorne · 20/04/2020 12:39

Another vote for Flynn from me

emmathedilemma · 20/04/2020 14:01

Flynn

LetItGoHome · 20/04/2020 14:08

I vote for Rafferty 😍 It's definitely the braver choice but it just sounds soooo cool 😎 and just rolls off the tongue beautifully.

Clemmie83 · 20/04/2020 14:40

I love Rafferty! Can then use Raff or Raffy for nicknames which I think are lovely for a little boy! Agree with pp about it being a cooler choice!

ladycarlotta · 20/04/2020 14:42

I think Flynn is lovely and yes will probably carry better into adulthood.
