Eve or Anya?

DD1's name is Cara. For DD2 we are torn between Eve and Anya.

We like the elegance and simplicity of Eve, and it ages well - it doesn't sound immature nor old fashioned. However, we know that similar names such as Evie, Eva, Ava, etc, are very popular.

Anya is very pretty and not massively popular, but we worry that it won't age as well.

Which is better?
Cara & Eve?
Or Cara & Anya?

Anya. I think it's a bit unfair to have one daughter with Cara and the other with a very popular name. Anya and Cara are also both feminine girly names whereas Eve is simpler.

Much prefer Anya. I teach - and I teach LOTS of Eves and Evies. It's a pretty name but far too common.

God not another Eve. Every other girl here is called Eve. It’s this generations Sarah. All appeal drained away through over use.

At one point one third of the girls in dd class were called Eve! Avoid at all costs.

I really don't like Anya. I know a few and they are all lovely girls but it's not a nice sounding name. Prefer Eve or Eva (which is ridiculously popular).

Definitely Anya. I do like the name Eve but it is very popular unlike Cara (also lovely). Cara and Anya is really nice.

Go for Anya! Absolutely beautiful name, it ages very well in my opinion too. I really love it, wish I had used it for one of my DDs :)

Both names are really lovely but I'm leaning towards Eve. Or you could have a bit of both, Enya?
