Rowan?

Btw is Bobby a whimsical name? It seems out of place on your list to me. I would not call a child tuppence! Some people use that as a cutesy word for vulvas!

Not keen on Enid or Maudie from your list - not whimsical

BecauseReasons · 05/03/2020 22:02

Yeah, not tuppence. Means vulva to many people.

Windyatthebeach · 05/03/2020 22:03

Some are very questionable op...
Puck??
Tuppence??
Woolf??

Livi735 · 05/03/2020 22:04

Good spot @HarrietThePi - it’s actually my nickname from my Dad so it made the cut even though it’s out of place! Might feature as a middle x

Livi735 · 05/03/2020 22:04

@BecauseReasons DID NOT know that! Good catch x

I can add Merry though. Along the same lines of Pippin.

Samwise?

strawberrylipgloss · 05/03/2020 22:07

Frodo?

HarrietThePi · 05/03/2020 22:08

Just thought of Hunter

HarrietThePi · 05/03/2020 22:16

I like Xanthippe, I wouldn't know how to say it if I hadn't seen Kimmy Schmidt, but I think it's a nice name. I like Honey too. There's a few others I quite like but personally I'd stay away from anything really "out there" (like Puck - which just needs an F to become a playground insult). Beau/Beauregard just makes me think of the character from Charlie and the chocolate factory and also I've known quite a few dogs called Beau so I'm not as keen on that as a baby name but of course these are just my opinions.

Omashu · 05/03/2020 22:19

Wow, that’s a long list! I honestly don’t think you need anymore adding to it 😂 I love a lot of them!

Lima45 · 05/03/2020 22:21

Loving most of your list.

However I'd personally steer clear of Isodore (written reminds me of wizardora, totally irrationally but I now have the theme tune in my head) and Perdita as it means "The Lost one" which gives me bad vibes.

I think you're swaying towards Tempest as it's on the list twice. Maybe subliminally??

To add to the list, Mungo for a boy, Melody for a girl

AwkwardPaws27 · 05/03/2020 22:24

Unless your name is Sue Radford, I think you have more than enough names to choose from (and lovely ones at that)!

DesLynamsMoustache · 05/03/2020 22:24

Calliope

DesLynamsMoustache · 05/03/2020 22:25

Nevermind it's there. I must have passed out halfway through the list Grin

wizzler · 05/03/2020 22:26

How about Sylvia

TrippingOnSunshine · 05/03/2020 22:27

Artimus (arti)

Isn't it Artemis?

Daughter of Zeus and Leto, twin sister of Apollo. Artemis is the goddess of hunting, wild animals and the wilderness.

BecauseReasons · 05/03/2020 22:37

Isn't it Artemis?

Yes. Much nicer spelling too.

BecauseReasons · 05/03/2020 22:38

I think Woolfe is a bit, 'Gladiator, RRRREADY!' and doesn't really work if he grows into a rather weedy little bespectacled man.
