Is it too old fashioned? Dated but not classic?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Christmadtree · 26/02/2020 20:35

I love it

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 26/02/2020 20:36

It's dated and not yet a classic, but I still like it. It seems refreshing now

OnlyToWin · 26/02/2020 20:37

It‘s lovely.

Jojo19834 · 26/02/2020 20:41

Not at all, and will be relatively unique I’m guessing

MsChatterbox · 26/02/2020 20:43

Love it!

MsChatterbox · 26/02/2020 20:43

It's one of those everyone's heard of it but not many people use it these days names. Those names are my favourite!

BoudoirPink · 26/02/2020 20:44

It’s rather dated for me.

tinselvestsparklepants · 26/02/2020 20:45

It's beautiful and works for a little girl and a sophisticated woman.

HoffiCoffi13 · 26/02/2020 20:45

I like it, my 6 year old’s best friend is Bethany.

user1493494961 · 26/02/2020 21:08

You hit the nail on the head, dated but not classic. Beth is lovely.

WildCherryBlossom · 26/02/2020 21:24

I think it's rather lovely.

Wintersun13 · 26/02/2020 21:30

My first thought was "Dragon Age 2" ;)

I like it.

DoctorBambino · 26/02/2020 22:54

It's cute and quite under used I think

DramaAlpaca · 26/02/2020 22:55

It's dated, it's not a classic, but it has a nice sound to it. If I was introduced to a newborn Bethany I'd think it was lovely, actually.

123Dancewithme · 26/02/2020 22:57

Lovely

Astronica · 26/02/2020 23:36

Rather lovely I think. I know a 4 yr old Bethany and think it really works.

yatapina · 26/02/2020 23:38

I really like it.

Omashu · 27/02/2020 01:21

Oh I really dislike this name, and Bethan. Not sure why! I have a lovely cousins named Bethan and Bethany but I’ve never liked their names.

FoamingAtTheUterus · 27/02/2020 01:27

I've got a Bethany. Bethany Grace to be precise.

She goes by Beth (( which I prefer tbh )) but also gets Betty.

I think it's a lovely name.

Pixxie7 · 27/02/2020 01:42

Biased my granddaughter is a Bethany but named shortened to B.

Ladida01 · 27/02/2020 02:32

Love Bethany its a beautiful name. My DD is Bethany Matilda

HeadLikeAFuckinOrange · 27/02/2020 02:49

I love both Bethany and Bethan!

mocktail · 27/02/2020 03:04

I like it, but prefer Bethan Smile

FizzyGreenWater · 27/02/2020 10:47

It's ok - bit dreary somehow to me but perfectly good, and Beth/Bethy is a nice short form

Mamabear88 · 27/02/2020 13:06

I think it's nice. Don't agree with the whole 'dated' thing anyway.
