Having a c-section tomorrow. Non ID twin girls. Have narrowed it down to the following:

Nina and Ella
Nina and Anna - our favourite two names but are they too similar?
Nina and Frida
Nina and Rosa

Nina is non-negotiable as it is very significant to us.

Nina and Anna, Frida is awful.

JollyGiraffe12 · 26/02/2020 11:51

Love all the names except Frida. I would go for Nina and Anna I think they flow nicely together.

shumway · 26/02/2020 11:52

Nina and Rosa.

daisypond · 26/02/2020 11:57

Nina and Rosa

Ostanovka · 26/02/2020 12:02

Nina is a diminutive of Anna.

Babybel90 · 26/02/2020 12:14

Please don’t choose Frida, it’s an awful name to saddle a little child with.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 26/02/2020 12:15

Nina and Rosa (though I prefer Rose).

villainousbroodmare · 26/02/2020 12:18

I like all bar Frida

Danglingmod · 26/02/2020 12:22

Rosa
Anna
Frida
Ella

Order of preference

CandyApple1995 · 26/02/2020 12:24

Nina and Rosa / Rosanna! X

badg3r · 26/02/2020 12:28

I love Nina and Anna and Nina and Rosa

badg3r · 26/02/2020 12:29

Re Nina and Anna being too similar, I would be sorely tempted to get your OH to stand at the other end of the house and practice shouting them to each other to see if you can hear the difference 🤣 if you can then I vote they are not too similar!

Whatsbrownandsticky · 26/02/2020 12:30

I'd avoid Ella or Anna or that child will always have to be Elsa or Anna in pretend play! It's the little things that matter 😄

Stripeyshirts2450 · 26/02/2020 12:40

What did you choose? Gorgeous. Anna or Rosa. How about Rosanna and see which nn sticks?

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 26/02/2020 12:44

Nina and Rosa or Anna are my faves.

Also- you still have 6 weeks after they’re born to register them. You don’t have to decide today.

Bat3 · 26/02/2020 12:47

Nina and Rosa

FizzyGreenWater · 26/02/2020 15:40

Nina and Anna are my faves too but I think they are too similar, sorry - especially for twins.

I would go for Anna and Rosa

Bin85 · 26/02/2020 15:47

Nina and Anna are great

sixtimes · 26/02/2020 15:51

Nina & Rosa/Rosanna/Rose.
I've taught a few sets of twins & I've found that when the names are similar (begin or end with same letter, same number of syllables) it's harder to work out who is who. The more you can create individuality, the easier it is to get to know them (that's for the staff and children). Good luck Smile

Hellhath · 26/02/2020 18:46

Anna and Rosa for me

DramaAlpaca · 26/02/2020 18:58

Any combination of Nina, Anna and Rosa for me. All lovely, short, neat, feminine, non-cutesy names with an international feel.

Ella is wishy washy in comparison, and Frida is frumpy.

balletpanda · 26/02/2020 18:59

Nina and Rosa - lovely 😊

Flidina · 26/02/2020 19:00

Nina and Rosa, good luck!
