Vote for these twin girl names. Have to decide today!

Having a c-section tomorrow. Non ID twin girls. Have narrowed it down to the following:

Nina and Ella
Nina and Anna - our favourite two names but are they too similar?
Nina and Frida
Nina and Rosa

Nina is non-negotiable as it is very significant to us.

I also like Nina and Rose- although not Rosa for some reason. Doesn't sound right to me?

Interesting responses. Nina and Rosa has the lead so far but I’m really interested that most of you are saying Nina and Anna aren’t too similar.

They have two brothers Oscar and Theo.

Thanks @ivykate44 but it’s just a matter of deciding between the names in my OP.

Can’t help feeling your post is hinting at a dislike of Nina though.

I think Nina and Frida sounds more similar when you say it out loud than Nina and Anna? Because of the “ee” sound.

Go for Nina and Anna. Both beautiful names and complement each other really well. Both on my list if I have another daughter!

Ah - I think Nina and Anna are lovely names and not too similar. Also ( whilst I have never had twins ) I think I would go for the nicest name for each of them rather than thinking of them as a pair. But I have never had twins so what do I know.

Anna is one of my favourite names and I do like Nina too. I'm just not sure of them together.
Again, I like Rosa too, but not sure of it with Nina.
I think I'd go for something longer
Annabel can always be nn Anna
Rosalie can always be Rosa.

I would avoid anything ending in A to go with Nina as too similar.

I would go with your two favourites, especially if you look at them tomorrow and feel that's what fits. Nina and Anna are gorgeous together, and for twins it's kind of nice that they are similarities - they won't be living in the same house forever and will be individuals, so both deserve to have a name you love. I agree that Nina and Frida sound more similar than Nina and Anna.

One more shot before everything gets too more serious - I would go with Nina and Anna - I am not a twin , I have never had twins , but I think if I had been a twin I would not like to think that my name had been chosen to "go with" brother or sister. I would like a nice name of my own and I think both Nina and Anna are lovely.

But I am not their mother and it must be your choice, Only saying because you asked
