Due number three in September. Both DC have Scottish names and would like the same for this one. Long-ish shortlist of names I like below in no particular order, I would love to hear any suggestions for others or opinions on the list! I find picking names so stressful!

Yes @GoneFishingAgain the latest three I wouldn't say are particularly Scottish either although I do really like them. I consider Francis to be Scottish because of Fran Healy from Travis 🤣

@magnarocks - does your Magnus get Gus as a nickname?

My favourites from your list are Magnus and Malcolm. I also like James, with Jamie as a nickname.

Francis and Philip aren't particular Scottish, imo.

From other suggestions I absolutely adore the name Lachlan. My Scottish cousin is Gordon nn Gordie which I personally love but maybe just cos he's a lovely chap!!

I love Rory. I have always wanted Rory as a name but my boyfriend doesn’t like it.

@marmite yes Alasdair is an amazing name!! We can't use it unfortunately, it's already the name of a close family member, but I love it.
