Love Clover!

CeeceeBloomingdale · 19/01/2020 22:09

I'd pick Cleo from those, Orla is rather over used around these parts

Whatsyourflava · 19/01/2020 22:42

Love cleo or coral

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 19/01/2020 22:44

I absolutely adore Isadora.

BubblesBuddy · 19/01/2020 22:46

Cleo is a bit over used too. Nellie the Elephant might not get my vote either. Emmeline Pankhurst is great. We thought about using Christabel after her DD. I like all the others. However Libby is short for Elizabeth and again not unusual.

HairyToity · 19/01/2020 22:48

Libby and Cleo were on our list. We also had Sylvie, Cora and Stella. My favourite of the ones from you list is Libby.

We ended up picking a top 20 name, as we both loved it, and couldn't agree on less popular choices.

HairyToity · 19/01/2020 22:50

I would have a Libby rather than Elizabeth on birth certificate by the way.

Ellmau · 19/01/2020 23:47

I quite like Isadora.

OwlBeThere · 20/01/2020 00:15

I like them all actually, I think my favourite is clover

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 20/01/2020 00:37

Isadora - it’s ok.
Clover - I can’t read this without singing the jingle from the butter advert...
Libby - short for Elizabeth, yes. On its own, no.
Cleo - like it
Raine - hideous
Nellie - as a nn for Helena or Eleanor, yes. On its own, no.
Orla - nice
Emmeline - don’t like it
Coral - it’s ok.

Astronica · 20/01/2020 00:47

I like Clover, Cleo, Raine, Nellie. Orla and Libby are okay but prefer Libby as a nickname. Isadora is a bit over the top for me. I prefer the more traditional Emma or Emily over Emmeline but they would be too popular for you. I dislike Coral.

bridgetreilly · 20/01/2020 09:50

In order, I like:
Clover
Emmeline
Libby
Isadora
Cleo
Orla
Coral
Nellie
Raine

I do like Nell, however, or other names from which Nell can be a nickname. But Nellie is an elephant.

Hepsibar · 20/01/2020 09:51

What super list of names loving especially Clover, Nellie and Emmeline.

Urkiddingright · 20/01/2020 10:51

Nellie is cool.

user1493494961 · 20/01/2020 11:09

Dislike Clover, really like Isadora, like Nell as a shortening for Eleanor.

Botanica · 20/01/2020 11:39

Isadora was on our final shortlist.

My name rhymes with it so we didn't choose it in the end. Absolutely love it.

Mandarinfish · 20/01/2020 11:40

My favourites are Clover and Libby (I would put Elizabeth on the birth certificate).

emmyloucuddles · 20/01/2020 18:43

We have a Libby, short for Liberty, in case you wanted another longer name option on that one! Not everyone's cup of tea but she always gets complimented x

TempsPerdu · 20/01/2020 21:12

Some lovely names here OP.

Isadora - no, too frilly and girly for me
Clover - brilliant, love it - considered it for DD but weren’t brave enough to use it
Libby - not as a stand-alone name - fine as nn for Elizabeth
Cleo - lovely but it’s definitely on the rise - the new Chloe?
Raine - not for me
Nellie - sorry, can’t get away from the elephant connection!
Orla - ok
Emmeline - very nice, considered this for DD too but decided it would inevitably be confused with Emily
Coral - much prefer Cora, which is lovely

FizzyGreenWater · 22/01/2020 10:27

Isadora - the best, but she will possibly end up as Izzy of which there are a BILLION.
Clover - nice but marmite
Libby - dislike
Cleo - really good
Raine - awful, harsh, dated
Nellie - cute but needs full name
Orla - overused
Emmeline - seems to come up more and more! Will end up as Em/Emmy
Coral - dislike

Strugglingtoquit · 22/01/2020 11:46

Elizabeth known as Libby is my all time favourite name. I like Libby on its own but prefer it as a nickname

I really like Isadora but she’s likely to be one of a million Izzys which is fine but if you’re looking for unusual is worth bearing in mind

I really don’t like Clover or Raine. The rest of your names are fine but not my taste.

timetest · 22/01/2020 11:52

Isadora is lovely. Not too keen on Clover.

Quizeerascal · 22/01/2020 12:00

Isadora- I like it and Dora is a good nn
Clover- Love this name, lots won't because butter etc but it reminds me of the flowers and 'What Katy did'
Libby- I like it but prefer it as a nn for Elizabeth
Cleo- Not keen, reminds me of the car for some reason (I know the spelling is different)
Raine- Not keen just makes me think of rain
Nellie- Sorry, I can only see an elephant I'm afraid, Ellen, Elena, Eleanor are all great names though
Orla- Nice but quite popular
Emmeline- Great name
Coral- Love it and love Cora too

marmitecheesetoast · 22/01/2020 13:47

Love Isadora and Emmeline . Libby is nice too but I would think it was a nn for Elizabeth?

TatianaLarina · 22/01/2020 16:17

Love Nell. Like Orla. Don’t like any of the others.
