Unique boy names?

As the title suggest, I'm looking for some unique boys names please! I like Percy, Abe and Taron but I'm not in love with them!

Thank you in advance xx

Percy is another name for penis
none of them are unique

Other suggestions
Crispin
Jasper
Jolyon
Quentin
Balonz

whensa · 16/01/2020 16:37

Do you actually mean unique? One that no-one else has used? That's quite a challenge...

Staffori · 16/01/2020 16:38

If it exists already, then it isn't unique. The only way to get a unique name is to make one up - though looking at baby name lists of other countries and cultures may find one rare enough where you are. That said, a friend called their son 'Orson' and in seven years have only come across one other child of that name.

TheSandman · 16/01/2020 16:40

I wanted to call my son 'Toshiro Thundercats' but I was overruled by my wife. Spoilsport.

Mk9yy · 16/01/2020 16:46

Clearly by unique I meant something that wasn't like Connor, Josh, Jack (nothing wrong with them but I want something different from the rest of the typical everyday name). No one had to get sarcastic or touchy 🙄. I was only asking for suggestions but I shan't bother next time if this is how people will react.

I know two Micahs. Taron is a bit celebrity-inspired, Percy is a no from me. Abe is bit OT name trend.

I have a baby Francis, it’s pretty low in the rankings!

Clangus00 · 16/01/2020 18:15

Unusual /Uncommon....have a look at the lists if registered names from the last few years but concern yourself with the names that only had 1 or 2 registered.

Lailaha · 16/01/2020 18:18

Adolf? He'd be pretty unique if you are in the UK.
Brian - not common nowadays.

Whatsyourflava · 16/01/2020 18:28

I absolutely adore Percy by the way and it’s in my list.

Other suggestions outside too 100 (I hope) some are outside top 300

Christopher nickname Kit
Wilfred (soo popular?)
Barnaby (fab name and rarely used)
Nathan/Nathaniel /Nate (numbers falling year on year and unusual these days)
Rafferty / Raffy
Sidney
Seth
Cole
Otis
Eric
Casper
Rudy/Rudi
Dexter
Miles or Milo
Blake (too popular?)
Angus (v rare)
Idris
Chester
River
Bodhi
Otto

Whatsyourflava · 16/01/2020 18:29

Or names like Clarence and Laurence are not used much at all

jeanne16 · 16/01/2020 18:33

I had an uncle called Clotworthy. Would be a brave choice though.

DivGirl · 16/01/2020 18:39

Second for Balonz - although might be too common for you?

Depends where you are OP. Names like Angus or Bodhi (just picking a couple from previous posts) are incredibly common in some areas but nationally very few.

Everyone wants to be unique these days so you've more luck of him being the only Kevin in the school than the only Roux.

TobyeBella · 16/01/2020 18:58

Jethro
Jonah
Cassius
Eric
Montgomery
Quentin
Xavier
Gregory
Edmund
Willem
Wilbur
Edwin
Maxim
Jonty
Simeon
Angus
Victor
Vincent
Julian
Evan
Rex

HalfBloodPrincess · 16/01/2020 19:02

2 names on my list were Balthazar and Ephraim but I wasnt brave enough to use them (plus I had a girl so would have been weird)

Grufallosfriends · 16/01/2020 19:02

Other than 'Balonz' none of these names are unique. I know a few of most of them.

My favourite non unique but uncommon names are
Quentin (have one myself Smile)
Raphael
Xavier
Caspar
Torben
Otis

AlexaKimbo · 16/01/2020 19:10

I’m sure Balonz is only popular in Surrey so as long as OP doesn’t live there she’ll be fine.

Some boys I only have ever known one or none of:

Oakley
Chase
Flynn
Xavier
Castiel
Wolf(gang)
Bear
Jago
Keir
Kester
Nico
Rupert
