YES! Love it. My friend is called Max (just Max) and she's smart and sassy and it suits her so well

The long versions suggested are gross . I'll never get the Mumsnet obsession of full names for the sake of full names. Like naming your child something hideous so you can use the cool nickname, rather than just using the cool nickname which is actually the name you want
