Best ‘Sunday name’ for a little Rosie

We would like a longer name but can’t decide so would like some suggestions in case we’ve missed any. Current front runners are Rosalie or Rosanna.

Thanks!

Rosabelle

I know a delightful Rosie who's 'big name' is Rosanna. She and her friends (10) currently list Toto as one of their favourite bands since they found out about the song 😂. It's a lovely name ♥️

daisydalrymple · 06/01/2020 12:07

I know a Rosina

TwinNumberThree · 06/01/2020 12:12

I know a baby Roseline (Ros-a-line), a baby Rosalyn and a baby Rosaleen (Rose-a-leen). All known as Rosie.

Rose, Rosa, Róisín or Rosalie are all lovely.

17caterpillars1mouse · 06/01/2020 13:08

I like Rosalind and Rosalin /Rosalyn

Flymetothestars · 06/01/2020 13:38

I like Rose on its own

TatianaLarina · 06/01/2020 14:37

Rosalie

NearlyGranny · 06/01/2020 14:43

I taught a Rosalba once (Italian). She was an angel who, aged about 12 or 13, had been 'lent' by her parents to her grandmother to keep house for the old lady. Still did her homework and topped the class.

Bibidy · 06/01/2020 14:44

Rosie is a nice name on it's own, I wouldn't worry about a longer version.

Nonnymum · 06/01/2020 14:44

Rosa, Rosalind, Rosamund, or just Rose.

diddlediddle · 06/01/2020 15:02

Primrose would be lovely. Or rosemary. Rosalind is nice but might get shortened to Rozzie because the sound is different. I find Rosanna and Rosalie a bit twee.

Pieceofpurplesky · 06/01/2020 15:03

Rosalie is my favourite girl's name (I am a big Grimm fan)

INeedNewShoes · 06/01/2020 15:07

I like Rosalie, Rosalyn, Rosalind

Redwinestillfine · 06/01/2020 16:44

Definitely Primrose, or Rose. Classy and classic.

Ludways · 06/01/2020 17:04

I only like Rose, all the others are unbearably twee.

LarkDescending · 06/01/2020 18:59

I like Rose, Rosanna, Rosalind best. Have gone off the slightly saccharine Rosalie a bit. I really dislike Primrose (the “prim” bit ruins the “rose” bit for me) despite knowing a cute little one.

DramaAlpaca · 06/01/2020 19:01

Rosanna, Rosalie or Rosalind. Or just Rose.

MilkTray22 · 06/01/2020 19:03

I absolutely LOVE rosanna.

MilkTray22 · 06/01/2020 19:04

I love Rosaline too!

Emmapeeler1 · 06/01/2020 19:04

Rose!

HoneysuckleSpeck · 06/01/2020 19:04

Rosalie.

Chottie · 06/01/2020 19:05

Rose Marie
Rosamunda

Tanaqui · 06/01/2020 19:07

What about Roseanne? Similar but simpler than Roseanna?
