Has a sister, Eliza, and love the names Fraser and Evan. Which would work better? And is Evan a bit more popular? Toughest decision as both seem nice. Think Fraser is a mouthful next to Eliza, so shall we play it safe? Sorry, this will be my last!!!

Fraser 100%

NoSauce · 17/11/2019 23:11

Fraser isn’t good with Eliza.

AngelaDevon · 18/11/2019 07:38

Fraser it is! We love the name in it's own right and it works really well with his middle names and surname. So happy!

I did not realize siblings names needed to match.

AngelaDevon · 18/11/2019 08:32

It is personal to everyone. I believe that it is nicer if siblings names have a similar style, but that's just my opinion. I dont like rhyming names, but unfort this is the only boys name we both love so there it is!

Lovely choice, congratulations and best wishes fof this very special time

MikeUniformMike · 18/11/2019 09:46

Evan is nice, but I prefer Fraser. Too many Evas around for Evan I think.
Fraser will be shortened to Frase.

AngelaDevon · 18/11/2019 10:05

Thank you Evanna13and MikeUniformMike! Appreciate x

Eliza & Tobias
Eliza & Wilfred
Eliza & Hugo
Eliza & Francis

baffledbeyondbelief · 18/11/2019 10:25

Sorry, meant to add that although I like both of your names I'm not convinced they go with your DDs which is why I suggested others x

FizzyGreenWater · 18/11/2019 13:53

How about Magnus?

It's got the same shape as Fraser and is Scottish but totally different. A bit more from the islands than the mainland :)

It sounds fantastic with Eliza, I would imagine your children growing up on a croft in Orkney

fairybeagle · 18/11/2019 21:31

Fraser is lovely

Minionoftheantichrist · 21/11/2019 10:06

Not wild about either but Prefer Evan.

Suggestions:
Eliza and Felix
Eliza and Alistair
Eliza and Miles
Eliza and Tobias
Eliza and Nathanial
Eliza and Eli
Eliza and Asa

Whattodoabout · 21/11/2019 10:06

Evan and Eliza are too close imo. I’d go with Fraser.

Shadow1234 · 21/11/2019 18:04

Fraser is a great choice.

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 21/11/2019 18:07

On the practical side, if you go with Fraser they won't have issues with muddled post with the same initials. On the other hand if you go with Evan you can buy one stamp with E. Surname and label all their stuff.

KSxx · 21/11/2019 18:42

I think Fraser and Eliza sound fine

KSxx · 21/11/2019 18:46

@AngelaDevon what about Rupert??

Rupert and Eliza sound gorgeous together
