Cole ?

Hi,
I've posted a few times about our 3rd boys name due in four weeks eeek !! We had decided on Casper however we're now more considering Cole ?

Please give me your opinions ?

As long as he never moves to Australia he’ll be fine . One of the biggest supermarkets is Coles!!!

Casper and Cole are both GREAT names. I cannot believe they aren’t more popular

I'm not a fan of one syllable names as I think there's always a temptation to add a silly 'y' sound on the end as it's just so short and sharp sounding.

It also depends on your local area and accent. I do prefer Cole to Casper though.

Casper is borderline strange, I immediately think of the ghost.

What are your other children called? Casper and Cole seem like totally different styles to me!

Thanks everyone , quiet positive . Those that have coles do you have a good reaction to it , I work in a primary school and we've never had a cole whilst I've been there and I don't know any .

My sons are Harrison and robin so I don't think we have a name style as such we just go with names we like xx

Cole is terrible.

But that is the nature of personal choice, we don't all have the same.

I only know of one. It's one of those more unusual names that isn't weird. I like it.

Don’t like it. Think it is tacky.

To me Cole sounds like coal. Not a great association!
