Which would you choose?

[Cantrip]

This will be our 5th child. Our older four are all old enough to have VERY strong opinions on what their new sibling should be called, which is making this process much more difficult than it ever was before!! Slowly narrowing down our small list of possible baby names. Pretty sure which boy name I’m leaning towards, but still open to new suggestions for a girl if you can think of any which seem like they’d fit in with our choices.

For a boy I'd choose Magnus or possibly Quentin, and for a girl Susannah or Miriam.

Silas and Miriam

I don’t like the boys names at all.

Miriam and Susannah are nice.

Robin is a boys name, it’s Robyn for a girl

I like Magnus & Susannah

I know it’s becoming more common to use Robyn for girls, but Robin has traditionally been used for both boys and girls (think actresses Robin Wright, Robin Tunney, Robin Givens, author Robin Stevens or singer Robin Beck) - and I’m not keen on the current trend of using Ys in the middle of names. I also quite like the connection to the bird when it’s spelled Robin.

Depends on what the other kids are named.

I would also use Robin for girls and boys. I like it much better than Robyn.

We have a Quentin (so am biased) but I love it and he's not even our fifth! I also like Magnus.

I like Robin... not sure about boys names. I don’t like any of them much but Hector is quite cute.

I have an Agatha so pick that! I love Magnus for a boy.

Love the name Quentin, especially for a fifth! I don't like the meaning of hector/hectoring and the potential nickname Heck?! Magnus is ok but Silas sounds too much like Silos.

For a girl I like Susannah or Miriam best. I don't like Adelaide or Robin.

Quentin or Miriam are my favourites.
