Two. Both mid 20's. 1 is lovely. 1 is a knob head.

Also Aunt Lydia from the Handmaids Tale 😔

Wow you don’t get many names like this that span generations but have consistently been underused - lovely!

Comefromaway · 21/10/2019 10:29

One. A friend of dd's at college. She's 19.

HoldMyPhone · 21/10/2019 10:51

1 my own who is 13 months. I do quite a few baby groups and never met another, there is another mum who has a Lydia who is around 8 but that’s it.

I am Glaswegian and lots of people made comments about Lydia teapot or dustbin when I was pregnant but I’ve only had 1 old man say teapot Angry after I told him her name.

Most people like it and it seems popular with granny’s in the park who tell you it was there aunts/mum/grans name then stare affectionately at my Lydia.

It’s unusual but easy to say and spell and a real name.

However I seem to have an issue the the receptionist at my Doctors who has repeatedly called her Linda Blush

LucileDuplessis · 26/10/2019 04:13

Two - one in her 40s and one age 6.
