Seems like it’s a pretty solid name then! I’ve never met one but really love the name. Pleased that it’s normal but not overly popular.

Quite a few, of various ages. I teach two secondary aged Lydias, know about three or four in their 20/30s and one or two primary school aged.

Two. One is in her 50s, the other is 4.

None, but I adore the name. If I’d had another DD I would’ve called her Lydia.

My name is Lydia. I'm 31. There was one other in my year in 6th form, and I work with kids and have seen a couple of toddlers recently, also know of an acquaintance with a baby Lydia. I used to dislike my name as a child but grew into it and now like the fact that it's somewhat unusual.

One in her 20s, it's a pretty name. I first heard it in Love For Lydia (H E Bates)

One, she's 8, and fabulous.

None and have never met one either.

One! My DD, aged four. She’s a great, confident and caring little character. Haven’t regretted choosing the name for a minute.

It’s a great timeless, strong but pretty name if you ask me . Love it

1. She's she same age as me (36) as we grew up together.

I know two. One is a 22 year old girl who I used to mentor at primary school (so I suppose I don't "know" her anymore), and the other is a friend's daughter who I have never met because we are online friends.

I think it's a lovely name, but definitely uncommon.

Oh there was one at my high school actually in my year, though we never really spoke I don't think.

Another aged 34 and genuinely one of the worst human beings I’ve ever had the misfortune to have met.
She has really put me off the name, sadly.
