Stuck on middle name

It's sort of a tradition in my family to use your Grandparents name as the middle name. I'm 100% set on the first name Rose but I'm really struggling with the middle as I don't like either of mine or my DH grandma's name. Which do you think sounds best??

Rose Ivy
Rose Doreen
Rose Joyce

Thanks for any input! Smile

Whatever the decision is, what matters is that you like it! Which one?

I know you said you had decided but I just had a thought. Do the grandmothers have middle names eg. Doreen Mary or Joyce Evelyn. You have a good chance at least one of them has a middle name that matches Rose and it is still naming your baby after them!

@Awwlookatmybabyspider they’re nice names but have nothing to do with my grandmas so I wouldn’t use them personally

Sorry I’m keeping my decision to myself as people tend to try talk you out of it and I’ll just end up back at square one.

Thanks for all your help!

Glad you've decided, OP. FWIW, my favourite of your options is Rose Ivym it's very pretty.

I'm just going to throw in another suggestion. I don't mind the sound of Doreen, but I dislike that spelling. However, the original Irish spelling Doirin looks much nicer & in English sounds almost the same, but with the second syllable stressed instead of the first. I'm fairly sure from what you've said it won't be suitable, but wanted to show that Doreen can actually be pretty Grin

Oops, that should have been 'Ivy,' not 'Ivym'. I did preview, too.

Rose Christabel

Why can't you use same one as sister if it's just the middle name? What is 4th name?
Rose Ivy would be best.

Rose Ivy is my favourite out of the ones suggested
