Thoughts on Elowen

What do people think about Elowen? Also considering Elin, Elinor, Lowenna. We have mixed Cornish and Welsh families

Is it pronounced L-O-N? If yes then sorry but I really don’t like as it sounds like letters rather than a word; as if you were spelling London. Elin and Elinor are lovely though!

It's pronounced el-OH-en. Someone else was asking about it recently. I think the consensus was largely positive then.

I'm not Welsh or Cornish but Elowen sounds very pretty to my ears.

It’s sounds quite similar to Rowan which has become really popular just in the last 2 years so might get a bit annoying if It keeps getting muddled up

I know some local mum’s with babies called Rowan who’s children get mixed with Roman and it makes them really frustrated. I imagine Elowen would also get muddled together but if you don’t mind correcting people
