Love Cleo, love Robin, but really dislike Bob as a nickname. I would use Rob or Robby.

071019DD · 07/10/2019 01:14

Oh and Lawrence is option too!

Very odd : both Joyce and Leslie were my grandparents names! Lovely names.

Love Cleo and Grace

Love Edward - but he'd get called Eddie which I like less

DaveTheGhost · 07/10/2019 01:24

I like Alice and Edward

Astronica · 07/10/2019 06:23

I like alll your girl names, but don't think Grace Joyce sounds good, and especially with a one syllable surname, so would cross that off. My favourite is Cleo Joyce, but I do really like Beatrice/Bess and Alice as well.
I love Edward and Christopher/Kitt, and they work well with Leslie.
Albert is okay. I'm not keen on Edison (Edward much better) and Robin/Bob.

Astronica · 07/10/2019 06:24

Just to add, I don't mind Lawrence, but much prefer Edward and Christopher/Kitt.

Divgirl2 · 07/10/2019 07:02

I think Beatrice Joyce sounds best but don't like the chance of a BJ nickname, so for that reason I would say Alice.

For boys I would say Edward.

Soontobe60 · 07/10/2019 07:07

Alice or Edward (or Robert 😀).
Definitely not Lawrence! (Only because I had a pervy uncle of that name many moons ago!)

BikeRunSki · 07/10/2019 07:14

I always feel they Grace is a hard none to live up to if you have any tendency to clumsiness! I know 2 Graces who choose to go by their middle names for this reason.

BikeRunSki · 07/10/2019 07:14

I like Alice and Edward best.

MissHenty · 07/10/2019 07:22

Love Alice and Beatrice for girls (Alice is my all time fav girls name)

Christopher (Kit) Robin or Edward for boys (Kit probably my favourite of the three)

Can you come back and let us know what you choose @071019DD

20viona · 07/10/2019 07:28

Don't like any sorry.

user1493494961 · 07/10/2019 08:11

Love Alice, your other girls names are all nice. Like Edward and Lawrence best, Kit is nice and other boys names OK apart from Edison, which is awful and doesn't fit with the rest of the list.

VenusClapTrap · 07/10/2019 08:16

Alice and Kit or Lawrence.

123Dancewithme · 07/10/2019 08:29

Cleo and Lawrence

071019DD · 07/10/2019 09:52

Thanks everyone that's replied so far! Will let you know what we choose, so few people do and I'm always curious although I know once bubba is here theres a lot less time!

Agree, an awkward/clumsy Grace probably isn't ideal Smile

I vote Alice and Kit x

JenniferM1989 · 07/10/2019 14:10

I vote Cleo and Albert (Bertie for short).

Good luck 🙂

userabcname · 07/10/2019 14:22

I vote Cleo and Edward.

bridgetreilly · 07/10/2019 15:12

Bess is usually a nn for Elizabeth, and I'm not convinced it really works for Beatrice.

AverageMummy · 07/10/2019 16:03

Beatrice (Bess) - love
Cleo - nice
Alice - nice
Grace - don’t like

Edison - don’t like
Edward - love
Albert - ok
Christopher (Kitt) - nice
Robin (Bob) - love
Laurence - love

LadyAndiBella · 07/10/2019 16:39

Albert but do pronounce it 'albair ' very fancy!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/10/2019 17:29

Cleo Joyce.
All the others are far too harsh with Joyce.

Christopher Leslie

Naomimi · 07/10/2019 18:41

Love Cleo and Robin! Short, sweet, traditional but a bit quirky.

MadameJosephine · 07/10/2019 18:45

Beatrice or Edison

I loved Edison or Darwin for a DS but they were vetoed by my ex
