As a baby brother for sister Margot? Which name do you prefer?

Hamish is definitely my favourite by far.
Think it does go well with Margot too.

Hamish, although I do like the idea of Gilbert because of Anne.

I love Gilbert. However this is mainly because I used to love watching Gilbert the Alien, which isn't a good image really.

What do you think of Gil or Bertie @JinCa Op as I definitely think that is what they will end up being called whether you like it or not

Hamish by a country mile.

I actually like both of those nicknames, especially Gil for an older man. It slightly worries me that there’s no shortened form of Hamish. That said, Hamish is probably our fav right now so good to hear others agree.

Definitely Hamish! I went to school with a Ham (short for Hamish) - nn does exist but might not be to everyone's taste
