Yes

Rumboogie · 04/10/2019 13:52

Yes

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 04/10/2019 13:54

Sadly, yes. I've known one all my life, but they've never escaped it. Despite being probably the least chavvy person I know!

I hate that names are 'judged' in that way and for the most part I'd ignore it, but some names (like Blake) just seem too tarred.

sanityisamyth · 04/10/2019 13:59

Yes.

Yes for either a boy or a girl unless it’s a family name.

The only Blake I know is definitely not a chav. I think it’s a great name. Maybe chavs have great taste

Gruzinkerbell1 · 04/10/2019 14:20

I know a lovely little Blake. The only Blake I know actually. I’ve never once considered his name to be chavvy.

BeanBag7 · 04/10/2019 14:20

To be totally honest, yes. Especially on a girl.

kateybeth79 · 04/10/2019 14:24

I know a Blake and his parents are the least Chavvy people I know. Really lovely people who own their own business and have a gorgeous, very stylish un-chavvy house

alexdgr8 · 04/10/2019 14:30

Unfortunately, Yes.
unless maybe you are American, Canadian, Scottish or irish.
but best avoided, I think.

Absolutely not and all the people yes, let us know your names and we'll decide if they're chavvy 😂

No way is it a chav name seriously?! Can’t believe people would think that!!

MissHenty · 04/10/2019 16:42

Posh people tend to avoid names like Jax, Carter, Parker, Keeley

I wouldn’t include Blake in that list. I know a little boy called Blake from a “posh” family
