I’m still totally and utterly struggling to choose a name for our little girl. My partner and I had a list of about 30 that were ones we liked individually or together .. we have managed to whittle it down bit by bit but I’m still not sure I’ve found the one. So for a bit of fun what would you choose from the following or do you have any suggestions...

  • Alice Lynne Murphy
  • Abigail Lynne Murphy
  • Imogen Lynne Murphy
  • Maggie Lynne Murphy

I like Alice out of the list, and don't like Maggie at all, I can see where you're coming from OP. It reminds me of someone in a shop going "Ooh, shall I buy myself a mag?"

I love Maggie. It’s adorable and I have never met one even though I’m a teacher.

The heroine in Mill on the Floss is Maggie.
