We thought we had two girls. So had kind of matchy style names (Camille and Claudia) in the pipeline.

Neither of those is the girls' name I love, but I kind of didn't mind because there were two, so it wouldn't be like one had my favourite name over the other. I like both the names, but no more than like.

Now it's turned out they're definitely boy/girl. So the boy will be Max. And I can't think of anything I like other than the name I can't have, now it's only one girls name I need. (It's been what my daughter has always been called in my head for the last 20yrs, and literally a year ago, this bitch who's connected directly to our family stole it, and yes I am fucking bitter) Spam me with names that go with Max please. Help me find something I love...

You're most welcome we're deciding on just Max, Maxwell, Maxim, or Maximilian. It's a lovely name I think, for all ages.

Could be allie/ally? I feel like there are so many parameters that your going to struggle finding a name (& nickname) that you love. I personally think, as hard as it will be, to stop thinking about what it may be shortned to, nicknames, just go for a name that you really like

At the end of the day, your baby, your choice. It seems that no other name compares to what you have always wanted, you've asked for similar names to one's you've kind of liked but there's always something not quite right. I totally understand your reasoning for now not wanting to use the original name but I don't think your going to find one you love as much therefore you will be forever going round in circles.

I know. I feel like a complete idiot. There's many nice names been put forward and I must come across like a toddler "No. Don't want it." I'm honestly not trying to find something wrong with everything. Quite the contrary, I'm longing for something else to feel right.

It's just every other name is not my daughter. I can't explain it, it would sort of be like having to rename Lady Gaga, she just isn't anything else. And it's as individual a name as something like Lady Gaga, so for me to now call my DD that looks like I've copied the name this twatty twatty old arsehole has "chosen". Gaaaaargh!!!!!!
