Thoughts on the name Emmeline for a girl?

Love it. As long as the end bit is pronounced -leen.

I think Emilienne is nicer.

My DD has Emmeline as a middle name. I sometimes wish it was her first name

Our daughter's name. Everyone hears it as Emily and then you have to either go with it or do a weird 'no, Emmeleeeeeeeen' kind of thing. I now avoid this by calling her Emmy.

I think it's a beautiful name (obviously!) and I hope she likes it as she gets older.

Its like my DDs name. Love Emmeline. Be prepared to repeat it several times and practice spelling it out loud too lol

It's beautiful and definitely Emma-leen. As in Emmeline Pankhurst.

Based on experience, some people will think it's Emily, but so what, that's a lovely name too. I try to enunciate, and if they get it wrong I just shrug and move on.

It's ok as long as you don't mind the song.
