What's your thoughts on the name Jett for a boy? Would you automatically think Jet Li?

I don't get all this "your child won't get a good job and come across professional if they don't have a sophisticated name" bullshit. My lawyers name is star. Her name hasn't set her back.

I really don't understand it either :') My other half works with people on 500K+ per year & they are called all sorts, some very weird, didn't stop them either lol!

It's a dreadful name. Poor kid saddled with that. But it's clear the OP has no interest in anyone's opinion other than people who agree with her.

I'm interested in people's opinion who don't make judgments based on washed up reality stars, also people who don't watch so much reality tv that they know that person's kids names :')

I would worry about other children making a joke of it...but children will always find a way to tease if they want to.

Not personally a big fan but my preferences are to classic names that won’t date...each to their own, go for it if you both like it!

I had no idea that Katie Price had a son called Jett but I don't like it at all. It seems a bit too try-hard. But if you like it, other people's opinions are unimportant.

I would think it sounds like a character from the cartoon 'Super Wings.'

I know of both George Lucas and Katie Price and I still dislike the name. However your reaction to other people’s reactions probably tell you all you need to know...you want to use it regardless.

It sounds like a made up name or a name for a dog tbh. It also will probably cause difficulty for your dc in that some people will make assumptions or not take him seriously. You only need to look at the responses on here. Yes a celebrity might use it namely because it's easier to get away with daft names if your parents are actors or whatever.

I know a 5 year old Jett, his name suits him.

I Also don't buy into this name your child and imagine them in xxxx profession. As long as it isn't offensive then it will be fine.
