What are your thoughts on Rosalind? Do you know any?

I’d prefer Ros if it’s to be shortened.

Rosalind is a gorgeous name Smile

Rachelover40 · 24/07/2019 21:50

Oh yes, Rosamund is a completely different name but the poster above me mentioned it and I did a bit of research - which was obviously useless Smile.

Lovely name.
Much nicer IMO than Rosamund, but then I connect that with the awful self centred woman in Middlemarch,

Rachelover40 · 26/07/2019 23:23

Gosh I'd forgotten about that one.

There was a Rosamund in Downton too, the girls' aunt, sister to the earl. She was nice though.

I love Rosalind and considered it for my daughter but it sounded awful with our surname.

HeronLanyon · 26/07/2019 23:58

Really lovely name. Also like rosemary and Rosamund.

LarkDescending · 27/07/2019 17:04

Lovely!

I know three, all adults. One goes by Ros, one by Rose, and the third is always Rosalind.
