My lovely possibly boy matching twins.

Yes????

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Peanutbuttericecream · 14/07/2019 20:48

Please don't, poor kids.

NavyBerry · 14/07/2019 20:51

They are quite traditional for Poland. A bit old fashioned but wouldn't be considered extraordinary. Are you of any Polish background? Lovely names and must be very exciting to expect twins!

Itellpeopletogoogleit · 14/07/2019 20:52

Gtfo lol

Frith2013 · 14/07/2019 20:58

They’re actually ok.

My ex boyfriend’s son is called Thaddeus.

finallychangedmyusername · 14/07/2019 20:59

Well I like both! I think they "match" each other, in that they're both three syllables, biblical and uncommon and both have a few options for shortened forms.

I'd probably pair them both with something simpler in the middle though, maybe still biblical but more mainstream:

Thaddeus John
Balthazar James
Or
Thaddeus Daniel
Balthazar Michael

Or non-biblical
Thaddeus Henry
Balthazar William

Congrats, op on twins!

McShakey · 14/07/2019 21:00

Love them!

buttyblahblah · 14/07/2019 21:00

Balthazar and Castiel would be lovely! They could be Balt and Cas.

I also like Gabriel, not as keen on Thaddeus.

AnguaUberwaldIronfoundersson · 14/07/2019 21:01

@MikeUniformMike what about pliers?

billybagpuss · 14/07/2019 21:01

As a massive 'charmed' fan, Balthazar will always be the source of all evil for me.

Frith2013 · 14/07/2019 21:01

“Thaddeus is alright for me, Balthazar on a cv sounds too much like an immigrant though.”

That’s the nastiest thing I’ve read in a while.

Anyway, back to the names. I’ve akso got a 3 King as a son.

Pleasebeafleabite · 14/07/2019 21:02

This is Balthazar from Buffy

Sorry and all that

Thaddeus and Balthazar
McShakey · 14/07/2019 21:02

Are you a supernatural fan? @buttyblahblah

Pinkyponkcustard · 14/07/2019 21:02

Er no for me.

Op why do you dislike your unborn children?

buttyblahblah · 14/07/2019 21:03

I'm in the Midlands, would much prefer Castiel and Balthazar to the typical Jayden/Kayden/Aiden options.

ReganSomerset · 14/07/2019 21:04

Don't like Balthazar, purely because Balthazar was a demon on Charmed.

buttyblahblah · 14/07/2019 21:04

@McShakey maybe I am. Are you?

Still good names though. OP could always go for Sam and Dean instead but much less interesting.

ReganSomerset · 14/07/2019 21:07

Amenediel? Benvolio?
Gabriel?

McShakey · 14/07/2019 21:12

@buttyblahblah I am, I tried to convince DH to name our DC Dean if it was a boy. Thankfully for him it was a girl😂

limitedscreentime · 14/07/2019 21:12

I like Thaddeus, used to know one, nn. Thady. Balthazar I think is a bit pretentious but if you've got the guts for it then go for it.

YolandiFuckinVisser · 14/07/2019 21:12

I know an adult Balthazar, known generally as Bal. He's not posh.

buttyblahblah · 14/07/2019 21:12

Alternative TV show Balthazar;

Thaddeus and Balthazar
HeadintheiClouds · 14/07/2019 21:12

Why would you? And I’m assuming the “simply divine” replies are taking the piss?!

HeadintheiClouds · 14/07/2019 21:14

As a general rule of thumb; any name that takes guts to use is best avoided. Isn’t that kind of self explanatory?

buttyblahblah · 14/07/2019 21:15

@McShakey my DH watched the first two episodes last night but wasn't keen. He might have finally figured out why I like it so much though, he noticed they were very pretty men and that's before Castiel arrives.

MikeUniformMike · 14/07/2019 21:16

I don't think I'd wish triplets on anyone unless they desperately wanted children. Three lots ofeverything happening at once.

How about Horatio and Nicodemus. I love both. If they needed plain NN, they could be Harry and Nick, which defeats the point of having such terrific names..
