Love all of those except Matilda.

MikeUniformMike · 28/06/2019 19:42

Of the 4, Beatrice. Matilda is overused.

Fatkins · 28/06/2019 19:47

I would also go for Beatrice. Matilda used to be one of my favourite names, but I've gone off it recently for some reason. I like Eliza and dislike Phoebe.

TFSRM · 28/06/2019 20:03

Beatrice is the nicest of those names

whitehalleve · 28/06/2019 20:05

I prefer Matilda

miamiibiza · 28/06/2019 20:06

Matilda

Peachbubble · 28/06/2019 20:16

I vote for Matilda

MollyHuaCha · 28/06/2019 20:28

Beatrice

Peitho · 28/06/2019 20:29

Phoebe is the only one I like.

DramaAlpaca · 28/06/2019 20:30

I like Matilda best, followed by Beatrice, Eliza & Phoebe in that order.

Icklepup · 28/06/2019 21:24

Eliza Beatrice

Pixilicious · 28/06/2019 21:52

Not Matilda, too common now
Beatrice is lovely

PrincessLouis · 28/06/2019 22:06

LOVE Eliza

Beatrice & Matilda have both been very popular in recent years so may date. Phoebe is ok.

Prettylittlelady · 28/06/2019 22:08

I’m not too keen on any of them but my favourite is Matilda.

BarryBarryTaylor · 28/06/2019 22:15

Only like Beatrice.

Eliza - I was bullied by one ☹️
Matilda- nice enough but probably will be another one in her class
Phoebe - nice but a bit tame.

DottieLottie1 · 28/06/2019 22:30

I like Eliza best, Beatrice ok but prefer Beatrix

99bb · 28/06/2019 22:55

We have a Beatrice. I love it, always have, always will. It was the name I always wanted since long before I even knew if I wanted kids.

Baby on the way is Matilda. I was originally put off by its recent surge in popularity but eventually decided I don’t care.

Eliza and Phoebe both nice but not names I’d go for myself.

emwithme · 28/06/2019 23:02

We have a 7 month old Matilda. Despite everyone saying it's super-popular, we've only met one other since having her and she's 4 or 5.

Love Beatrice, but our GirlCat is called Eugenie so that was off the list.

We also contemplated Phoebe but couldn't get past the Friends character, and Eliza just made us think Doolittle.

Also on our list were Clara, Martha and Dinah.

julensaor · 29/06/2019 02:30

beatrice is a very ugly name in my humble opinion, it even gets close to knocking Gobnait off the top spot. Matilda always has that Australian sheep shearing thing about it, white trash. Eliza is the best.

RubberTreePlant · 29/06/2019 03:52

All lovely names.

RubberTreePlant · 29/06/2019 03:53

(When I clicked from Active, I was expecting a suicidal poster.)

Pinkfinkle · 29/06/2019 04:48

Beatrice or Matilda.

AverageMummy · 29/06/2019 09:07

@PrincessLouis they’re all quite fashion names so will all date to their generation but it’s not something I care about really

I like Phoebe best from your list. Beatrice is nice too though.
