Boy after two girls

Hi everyone

We’ve got two girls, Martha and Anna, and we’ve just found out we’re having a boy. We really expected a girl so only had girls names lined up and really struggling to find a boys name we both like.

So far we both sort of like Sebastian and Ezra. DH likes Rafe, Eric and Theo/Leo none of which I love and I like Jago, Wilf and Cassius all of which he hates.

What do people prefer out of Sebastian or Ezra? Thanks for your help!

Sebastian goes better with your girl's names imo.

ReganSomerset · 02/06/2019 19:01

Sebastian is also the better name imo. I hear Ezra and think George.

Ploppymoodypants · 02/06/2019 19:01

Sebastian is fab

diddlediddle · 02/06/2019 19:25

Ezra doesn't go and it's a bit zeitgeisty. Sebastian is better.

Rafe and Jago both also nice. Don't like the others.

Sebastian

Sebastian is great with those sister names. I do like Ezra but I agree it doesn’t really “go” with Martha and Anna — it’s a bit more trendy. How about Elias or Elliot? Or Caspar?

DramaAlpaca · 02/06/2019 19:32

Neither are my thing, but I prefer Sebastian of the two. Ezra will date, it's very now, and it's a different style altogether to your girls' names.

Sebastian would have been my no 1 boy pick if it wasn’t terrible with our surname.

OhMyDarling · 02/06/2019 19:49

Def go with Sebastian!

BlueJag · 02/06/2019 19:58

Sebastian it's awful. Strait from little Britain.

Sebastian is lovely and goes well with his sisters.

daisypond · 02/06/2019 20:12

Sebastian goes much better and I prefer it to “will date badly” Ezra, though I’m not actually very keen on Sebastian itself.

aibutohavethisusername · 02/06/2019 20:27

Sebastian

QueenofFox · 02/06/2019 20:52

There’s definitely a consensus! Thank you everyone and for the other suggestions, really helpful!

Love Sebastian

SingingSands · 02/06/2019 22:44

Ezra all the way.

Martha, Anna, Ezra. Love the sound of those together.

Sebastian always makes me think of "sebaceous" Confused

tiramisu1 · 02/06/2019 22:49

I also dislike the seb part of Sebastian- it also reminds me of oily skin, sebaceous. The potential nicknames Seb, Sebbie, Basty aren't great either.

Ezra is nice or how about
Reuben
Quentin
Raphael
Caspar

whitehalleve · 02/06/2019 22:58

I think Ezra goes much Better.Sebastian sounds 'try hard' to be posh to me.

tinytriumphs · 02/06/2019 23:04

To me, Ezra goes better with the girls names as then they are all biblical names?

LarkDescending · 02/06/2019 23:11

Sebastian by miles. Lovely with your girls.

MrsEricBana · 02/06/2019 23:14
