Girl but “Clover” from what Katy did. Maybe I’m old fashioned!

Tillygetsit · 08/05/2019 22:24

Deffo not for a boy 😮

Saharasunset · 08/05/2019 22:25

Clover - very nice

Shylo · 08/05/2019 22:25

I’d assumed you were looking for a unique spelling of the girls name Clover

mamaoffourdc · 08/05/2019 22:25

Clover for a girl

NaughtyLittlePassport · 08/05/2019 22:25

Clova what, garlic?
That was my first thought

BroomstickOfLove · 08/05/2019 22:26

I prefer Clover or Clovis.

Rosebud1985 · 08/05/2019 22:26

Makes me think of the spread I’m afraid

MotherOfDragonite · 08/05/2019 22:26

I'm not keen. I would assume it was a girl's name, but I think it would be easy to confused with Clover. It reminds me of cloven hooves.

AnyoneButAnton · 08/05/2019 22:27

Is it Irish? Or am I thinking of a name that sounds like that but is spelled completely differently?

It’s definitely not a name in English.

EskeewdBeef · 08/05/2019 22:27

I can't believe it's not betta. No, it's not a name for anyone.

Impatienceismyvirtue · 08/05/2019 22:28

Clover is nice for a girl. Clova is contrived and definitely not for a boy imo.

Clodagh?

NannyR · 08/05/2019 22:29

Looks like a trying to be unique, misspelling of clover. I really like Clover as a girl's name, along the same lines as Ivy or Fern.

DramaAlpaca · 08/05/2019 22:29

Clover (that spelling) for a girl is quite nice. It would be very odd on a boy.

Yourenotheonlycuddlytoy · 08/05/2019 22:30

Great. For a baby cow.

33goingon64 · 08/05/2019 22:30

I knew a Clovy once (female). Clovis or Clover fine. Clova is a bit like 'bruvva'

GreatestShowUnicorn · 08/05/2019 22:33

Not even pregnant but ttc and saw it in a book recently. There's a glen clova in Scotland though this book was set in london.

Another one reminds me of a cloven hoof. I’m thinking of mr.tumnus from narnia tbh! Everyone will spell it incorrectly and it’ll do her(?) head in!

StyleOfTheTimes · 08/05/2019 22:35

Found myself singing the old “roll it over in the clover, roll it over in the clover and do it again” jingle from the clover butter advert. Would think it was a girls name though if had to choose

Ineedamanipedi · 08/05/2019 22:37

I’m reading a book at the mo and one of the characters is called Silva which I think is nicer (although you’d still have the spelling problem) it means forest/woodland.

Bumblebeesmum · 08/05/2019 22:38

As in the margarine ?

azulmariposa · 08/05/2019 22:49

Like the butter?

Veterinari · 08/05/2019 22:52

Scottish - after the Glen
Most people would assume a unique spelling of Clover

Starryskiesinthesky · 08/05/2019 22:59

My pal has a dog called Clova for Glen Clova. Could be ok if you are Scottish?
