hi everyone,
expecting a baby girl in a few weeks, here is my shortlist:

Mila
Etta
Ivy
Bella
Willa

I think my favourite is Ivy but I can’t decide because I love all of them? Can you rate them, pick your favourite and why please? Thank you!

Etta is fabulous! It makes me think of the wonderful and very cool Etta James.

Willa is also nice, feisty but feels quite ladylike too.

Ivy is the nicest, followed by Mila

I love Ivy.

Only one I wouldn't use would be Bella due to the large amount of Isabelle's/bella and Annabelle's/bella.

I know a few who use Bella as a nn

Ivy is really pretty and I like Mila too. Not keen on the others.

Love Ivy and Etta. I wouldn't use Bella as know too many, Mila I don't love and I think if you went with Willa people would think you were saying Willow but not pronouncing it well.

Ivy is the nicest.

I do like Bella, but it's popular & I know three dogs called Bella so that would put me off.

I don't like the other three at all.

Ivy is my least favourite. I do like Etta or Willa - both lovely, not common.

Is Mila said Milla or Meela or Myla?

Ivy- poison ivy.sorry. I actually quite like name but I always think this.
I like Bella- classy, pretty and elegant.

Good question! I don't hate it btw - all your name choices are nice names.
I think it looks less nice written, and I think it doesn't have great associations - poison ivy for example.

When I hear Ivy I think of Poison Ivy. Not great.

Ivy is boring and I think getting quite popular.

None to my personal taste, but if I had to choose I would put them in following order:

Mila
Willa
Bella
Etta
Ivy (makes me think of poison Ivy)

The only one I like is etta.
I don't understand the obsession with ivy...it took the council a year to get it out of my roof. It's a weed(?) and causes loads of damage to your property.... So I really don't get it!

In order of preference:
Mila
Bella
Etta
Willa
Ivy

I love Etta Ivy and Willa
I’m a Jazz fan so have a particular fondness for Etta but I think if it was me I’d have it as a nickname for a longer like Juliet Bernadette Odette Cosette etc etc but it’s still lovely

Mila I like but would be unsure of pronunciation - My-la or Mill-uh?

I think I like Mila best, but prefer Myla to Mila I think. Next favourite is probably Ivy :)

Not 100% sure about Etta but I think I like it! I like Ettie too.

My favourites are Etta and Bella.
Not sure about Willa, I don't think I've heard that before. Mila and Ivy are nice too but I don't like them as much (can't really say why! Something about the sound of them I think).
