DS was nearly Giles, it’s a family name on my husband’s side. We used it as a middle name.

Not a fan at all of Miles. I don’t hate Niles but prefer Giles.

I really dont like any but the order for me would be:

  1. Miles - dislike but kind of popular. Didnt John legend and chrissy Teigen use this name for their son?
  2. Niles - is this a real name?
  3. Giles - old posh farmer as pp said above

Not keen on any of those I’m afraid. But I did once teach a lovely Nils (pronounced ‘Neels’ - Norwegian origin) and thought that was quite nice.
