So, here it is, the fourth(!!!) Guessing Game baby names thread. Shock

All credit to @scotstar for creating the game, back in March 2018. Can't believe how far we've come!

Previous threads here:

1: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3189874-guessing-game

2: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3207745-Guessing-game-II

3: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/baby_names/3262724-Guessing-game-III?pg=1ℴ=

The game is simple. Guess the name the poster is describing, then it's your turn! Make the clues as fiendish as you like. Grin

All are welcome to join in! @FintyTin, @Ladywillpower, @LadyGAgain and @DuggeeHugs, come join! (Plus others I've forgotten)

Right, these are all the names we've described so far...

And since @Ladywillpower correctly guessed @FintyTin's last clue, this is @Ladywillpower**'s latest clue:

This old German name opened Pandora's box in 1929. Her royal connections meant that she waltzed off to one of the Channel Islands with the Doctor.

@Clettercletterthatsbetter has guessed Clara!

Andrew (singers of OMD not just random UK saints Grin)

finallychangedmyusername · 12/05/2020 09:04

LadyGAgain · 12/05/2020 20:28

Zeus

finallychangedmyusername · 12/05/2020 20:56

There are three clues in there - Pandora is probably the best clue.

This saintly man will help you open Pandora's box.

A late comedian of this name was married to a comedienne.

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 17/05/2020 00:01

Adrian?

LadyGAgain · 17/05/2020 00:04

But I don't know why! Adrian Mole's muse was Pandora. Adrian Edmonson is (alive) married to Jennifer Saunders. That's all I've got!! Blush

Ellmau · 17/05/2020 00:27

Simon?

Ellmau · 17/05/2020 00:28

Or Jude?

finallychangedmyusername · 17/05/2020 10:56

Yes, @LadyGAgain!

Various saints called Adrian.
To help is to "aid".
And a very bad pun on Adrian Mole's (wistful) relationship with Pandora. 😁

And yes, Adrian Edmonson was married to Jennifer Saunders.

And I'm having a senior moment Blush - Rik Mayall has sadly passed NOT Ade Edmonson. So so sorry.

Here's the baton!

Thanks for keeping us guessing. @finallychangedmyusername !

Ok. My brain isn't what it was so forgive this.

Forget the mirror, this one of a party of 5 forgets the first half of someone who wants their freedom.

finallychangedmyusername · 20/05/2020 22:39

Geri?

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 21/05/2020 00:21

Not Geri

Ellmau · 21/05/2020 00:37

Charlie?

LadyGAgain · 21/05/2020 22:20

Not Charlie.
Think group rather than party (sorry told you my brain wasn't working brilliantly).

Internationally recognised basketball player.

Ellmau · 22/05/2020 10:12

Michael?

finallychangedmyusername · 22/05/2020 15:52

Jordan?

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 22/05/2020 20:25

Yes @Ellmau has it. Michael Jackson - party of 5 Jackson 5 and George Michael.

Over to you

Ellmau · 23/05/2020 00:55

I shall have to think up a new name and clue tomorrow.

Ellmau · 23/05/2020 13:14

A furiously flowery friend of Mickey.

finallychangedmyusername · 23/05/2020 15:41

Daffy?

OP posts:
TommyShelby · 23/05/2020 17:02

Daisy?

Ellmau · 23/05/2020 19:26
