Middle name Thomas Arthur (not like that really matters) 😂

Koby Thomas Arthur goes best together, love koby.

somanynamess · 24/04/2019 20:17

@chocolatelog I think Koby is definitely my fave, DH gets to a point and say "You just pick it, Ill get used to it" 😂

Personally I’m not a huge fan of either although I love your choice of middle names! Curtis I think is dated- I work with a few and they’re all Americans in their 50s. So if I had to choose one of the two then definitely Koby.

chocolatelog · 24/04/2019 20:27

It's lovely and different. After my last one (5th) dh was like "just choose a fricken name" 😂

feelingsinister · 24/04/2019 20:28

Thomas and Arthur are much nicer names. I don't like Curtis or Koby at all, sorry.

Zoflorabore · 24/04/2019 20:29

Neither of them are my taste but Koby is much nicer. Are you going to find out op?

Peachbubble · 24/04/2019 20:31

I prefer Curtis.

EdWinchester · 24/04/2019 20:32

Neither.

PinkieTuscadero · 24/04/2019 20:34

I like Curtis.

(Curtis Mayfield fan.)

somanynamess · 24/04/2019 21:59

@Zoflorabore yes we find out on Monday 😁

@EdWinchester Why bother to comment then ? 😂

@feelingsinister I do like Thomas, its DH middle name and his DB has a short version for his name so wouldn't want MIL to get all excited thinking id named the baby after its uncle 🙄 xx

itssquidstella · 24/04/2019 22:01

I like Coby but not Koby.

somanynamess · 24/04/2019 22:04

@itssquidstella I just see Cody 😂 ... Has anyone got any suggestions for 'manly' boys names? And I don't mean old man 😁

OP posts:
itssquidstella · 24/04/2019 22:05

Tate or Wade?

somanynamess · 24/04/2019 22:14

@itssquidstella last name begins with T xx

Curtis

BackforGood · 24/04/2019 22:45

Thomas Arthur are both nice names - you've already suggested them ! Smile

I don't really like Curtis as I don't like surnames being used as first names, but I think Curtis is far better than Koby which I don't like at all.

dreichuplands · 24/04/2019 22:48

I agree with backforgood

Chocmallows · 24/04/2019 22:48

I love Thomas Arthur Koby.

Miljah · 24/04/2019 22:48

Sorry, but, like Winchester; neither. Your middle names are far less class-divide challenging.

I didn't create this divide, I just observe it.

Your choice, but personally I wouldn't give a child of mine a class-specific name like those.

DramaAlpaca · 24/04/2019 22:48

I like the middle names.

If you absolutely forced me to choose between those two first names I'd go for Curtis.

PlatypusLeague · 24/04/2019 23:22

Of the two, Curtis.

If you like surnames as first names how about

Lennox
Harrison
Jarvis
Riley
Jackson
Mason
Carter
Ellis
Bradley
Archer
Jensen
Morgan
Nixon
Maxwell

Rosesaredead · 25/04/2019 06:26

Arthur is amazing and Thomas is nice too. Curtis and Koby are both a bit dated and nowhere near as nice. They also don't go with either of the middle names. I think you should go for Arthur Thomas. But if you really want one of the others, I think Koby is a little less bad than Curtis.

LucyFox · 25/04/2019 06:48

Out of the two you give, Curtis 100%
Koby is too trendy for me - it’s a name that will forever tie to an era & unfortunately will be perceived by many as a bit chavvy (sorry)
I think there are names that are much nicer - what about Cameron? Anthony? Harley? Lewis? Harrison? Jackson? Oscar? Benjamin? Daniel? Ethan? Mason? Miles?

Lydia55y · 25/04/2019 06:50

Both a bit 90s American. How about something you can shorten like Nathanial to Nate?
