Paloma for an English girl? Is it too Spanish? Do you like it?

I really liked it until I found out it means "pigeon" in Spanish. Lost its appeal somehow, after that.

All I think is Faith. Sorry. It's too Spanish sounding too for an English girl/woman.

It's dove, not pigeon. And a beautiful name, though very Spanish.

It means both dove and pigeon I think, like in French and several other languages. I think they’re actually the same bird, but doves are white.

Anyway, thanks for all the positive feedback! I tend to think Paloma Picasso rather than Faith, but hopefully the association isn’t too strong?

What's wrong with Paloma Faith? She's a mainstream pop singer which isn't a bad association.
