Hugo or Bobby

We’re due in 3 weeks and can’t decide our little boys name. He is baby number 4 as we already have

Matilda & Eliza (twins)
Freddie

DH wants Bobby which I like but I have always loved Hugo. Other names we like are

Stanley (my late dads name)
George
Chester Smile

Bobby would be a bit babyish for an older child or adult.

I like Hugo and George. Robert is nice, not so keen on Bobby though, sorry. How about

I don't like it myself, but I think Hugo sort of 'goes with' your other dc more.

Personally, I love the name Robert and quite like Bobby as a nickname, so that would be my choice but I do feel it is quite different from your other children.

Robert nn Bertie would be more similar to your other names. Chucking Bobby in the mix would be most random.

Stanley's nice too. Hugo isn't great imo.

I love the names Robert and Hugo though, and think they match your children's names nicely.

Out of the two I would most definitely go with Hugo. It lets Freddie' stand on its own with the 'ie' sound and gives Hugo his own sound. If that makes sense

Hugo is a lovely name and goes with your existing DCs names.

Bobby sounds too babyish for a teen/adult.

Bobby is too working class for Mumsnet.
