If I like Cian and Rory

We had a little boy yesterday - he was a bit of a surprise as the sonographer had said “she” during a recent scan!

We have an irish surname that is difficult to spell so looking for a simpler first name. Doesn’t have to be Irish though.

We like Cian and Rory - would love to know what people think? Also if you have any ideas of similar names that’d be great.

Both are gorgeous, especially Rory!

I have a Rory, amongst a number of boys.

I think it's a great name, not too popular, not too unusual, strong but warm, suitable for a boy and a man, easy to say and spell.

I loved Seán, Donnacha or Diarmuid. I think Seán is a lovely name.

Emmet is also a lovely name and very Irish.

Niall and Domhnall are cool too.
