OK apparently the bambino/a could be making an appearance in the very near future. What are your thoughts? Rather than long lists of names please choose your “most likely” names for a boy and a girl.

Boy: Leo

Girl: Francesca

If it's a girl they are bound to put Diana in there somewhere aren't they ?
I think they will use Phillip somewhere for a boy.

Henry or Alexandra

I think a boy will have Spencer as a middle name

Grace or Sophia
Alexander or Nicholas

Maybe Harriet or Matilda?

To be fair it could be something 'out there', see Beatrice and Eugenie.

Maybe that’s as close as you can be to the throne though to go a bit “off-piste”.

I think we can safely rule out Samantha for a girl and Donald for a boy 😂😂

Boy: Oliver Charles Luther (nod to black civil rights activist)

I don't think it will be a traditional British monarch name. Megan is American and doesn't tend to conform, nor does Harry.

I think they will choose Phillip (after paternal great grandfather) and Jean (after maternal great grandmother, I don't think Jeanette is ready for a comeback so I think they will shorten to Jean).

Spudulika. Or possibly Frogmella, because it’s exotic.

Unless the Queen decides otherwise the baby won't be a prince or princess as far as I know. She/he is unlikely to ever be the monarch so they have more freedom than William and Kate had.

I also think they’ll use Diana but I think a boy could feature Charles, Harry seems close to his Dad and by all accounts he’s been very welcoming to Meghan.

First name I think will be a bit more unusually. More along the Phillips offspring line!
