I love longer names that have lots of nicknames and love Elizabeth with the nickname Lizzie/Lizzy. Which spelling do you prefer: Lizzie or Lizzy, and why? Thanks in advance.

I think Lizzie is probably the more common spelling so probably safer to go with that. However, I wouldn't say I prefer it over Lizzy because both are correct and common spellings.

Not much in it, but 'Lizzy' has a quirkier feel if you like quirky names.

Lizzie- looks prettier to me and is just what I'd think of writing. Like having Elizabeth as full name though.

My sister is Elizabeth and I've always called her by that name. Some of her friends call her Liz. She had never been Lizzie/Lizzy. My mum is also an Elizabeth but gets called Elsie

I'm Elizabeth prefer to be called Liz, now and again someone will call me Lizzie and i hate it, but thats just me.
