From your list i like Lyla and Eloise for girls, and Caleb for boys x

StellaRae · 28/02/2019 16:55

Lydia is my clear favourite. I like Nancy and Sadie also.

Caleb and Tobias. Not keen on the others, I'm afraid.
Is Zachary an option? Or Joel?

IsThisYourSanderling · 28/02/2019 16:56

Love your girls list, especially Mabel, Verity, Sadie, Hallie.

Less keen on your boys list (sorry!), many of the names a bit too contemporary for my tastes - if you're religious then Caleb is quite nice. Joby reminds me of the biblical Job, who didn't have a happy time of it. Boys names that I never got to use, and love, include Fraser, Magnus, Casper, and Sorley. There's a boy at my toddler group called Dory (Dorian) and I love that too.

Nothing to add to the girls though you might like Harriet or Meredith, or Dinah or Viola if those classic style English names are appealing to you

CeeCee88 · 28/02/2019 17:01

Joby just makes me think of Jobby, which is poop in Scotland... wouldn't want to do that to anyone.
Tobias and Caleb are lovely. :)

merrybloomizoothief · 28/02/2019 17:02

Joby?
Like a turd?

RiverTam · 28/02/2019 17:03

Lydia from the girls list

None from the boys, especially not Lennon (awful man) or Bryson.

flowersaremyfave · 28/02/2019 17:30

Thanks everyone, boys names are so hard 🙄

flowersaremyfave · 28/02/2019 17:31

Shetlandponyranger · 28/02/2019 17:37

Isiah is gorgeous.

BlueMerchant · 28/02/2019 17:38

I definitely prefer it to your list although Isiah is still nice.Agree boys are hard to choose. OH chose my son's name as I couldn't make my mind up. Can't believe I didn't think of Isaac at the time.Id have picked Isaac.

Discobabe98 · 28/02/2019 17:39

Lyla and LennonSmile

Second pic would be Nancy and Caleb

Mumshappy · 28/02/2019 17:39

Verity and Albie are my favourites from your list.

sequin2000 · 28/02/2019 17:48

Love Isaiah ( this is the correct spelling)

PuzzlingPuzzle · 28/02/2019 18:00

Love Lydia, Nancy or Eloise for a girl.
I’m not wild about your boy’s names (they seem very different to your girl picks which are mostly classic) but Tobias is ok and at a push, Caleb.

WhereIsMyTVRemote · 28/02/2019 18:03

Nancy, Mabel lovely.

Any of the biblical ones for the boys. Got to be honest that Lennon is one of my least favourite names ever. I think perhaps unfairly though, because all of the ones I know are nightmares.

Caleb would be my favourite.

flowersaremyfave · 28/02/2019 18:05

@PuzzlingPuzzle I know 🙈 I don't like classic boys names

OP posts:
BibbityBobbityEars · 28/02/2019 18:06

Lydia, Sadie

Not keen on the boys names. Tobias at a push.

flowersaremyfave · 28/02/2019 18:10

I like Tobias but hate Toby and I'm guessing that's what it will get shortened too 🙈 the only boys name dh has mentioned is emmet from the Lego movie 🙈 so he's fully useless 😬

OP posts:
Barbarafromblackpool · 28/02/2019 18:11

Tobias
Lydia

PuzzlingPuzzle · 28/02/2019 18:28

God my DH suggested Emmet too 😂
Thankfully we had a girl!

(I should clarify no offence is meant to any parents of small Emmets it was just a) his only suggestion and b) my name starts with an ‘Em’ sound so it would have been completely ridiculous)

Arowana · 28/02/2019 18:29

I like Lydia and Isaac

daisypond · 28/02/2019 18:42

Lydia -nice
Sadie -OK, but I prefer Sarah with Sadie as a nickname.
Hallie - no
Verity -yes
Nancy -OK.
Eloise -OK
Mabel -no
Larosa -no
Lyla -no

Joby - no
Tobias -yes
Caleb -ok
Lennon - no
Albie -no
Bryson -no
Isiah -no, unless spelled properly as Isaiah, but I'm not keen.
