What's everyone's thoughts on Laiken for a girl and roman for a boy?

OP posts:
RiverTam · 01/03/2019 08:27

Laiken is not a name I know, don't really like it.

Roman is nice.

bluebabydinosaur · 01/03/2019 09:26

Eloise - Fabulous - Very pretty.
Albie - Really cute.

daisypond · 01/03/2019 15:50

Laiken - like lichen, the tiny plant stuff? It looks a bit odd. I'm not keen on Roman either.

GregoryPeckingDuck · 01/03/2019 15:56

Verity Abd Isiah

Whoops75 · 01/03/2019 15:59

Not a fan of either sorry 😐

Hanab · 01/03/2019 16:04

Lyla & Caleb

AlapacasSitOnCreamCrackers · 01/03/2019 20:10

Seriously not Joby!! 💩💩💩

DaisyF1986 · 01/03/2019 20:24

I like Verity, Nancy, Eloise and Lennon for boy x

FairyMoppings · 01/03/2019 20:30

I don't like any of your girls names I'm afraid. Hallie if I really had to pick the best one, but still not in love with it really. How about Jolie?

Of your boys names I love Caleb. Really wanted to call my DS this but DH is very atheist & anti-religion and veto'd any names he thought sounded too 'biblical' cos he's a tool!

AuntMarch · 02/03/2019 08:38

Lydia - bit middle aged middle class in my mind
Sadie - meh
Hallie - always thought it sounds like a nn
Verity - I don't like this, only because I dislike one Verity and don't know any others. If I could separate from that it is actually quite pretty.
Nancy - no
Eloise - ok
Mabel - ok
Larosa - I think this sounds like the name of a condition or something
Lyla - I like this. Also Lyra

Boys-

Joby - please don't!
Tobias - Its ok
Caleb - not a fan. But maybe only because I have only know one and he was a little bugger!
Lennon - like the name but hate that people would think it after John Lennon who was an arse
Albie - like it but it seems to have boomed in the past year
Bryson - I don't like this, it's just a surname to me. I wouldn't make Confused faces either though.
Isiah - I knew of two Isaiah's, pronounced differently (eyes-ay-ah, is-eye-ah). Both are fine imo.

We definitely have different tastes lol! It's be boring if we were all the same though

Sorry I meant to say "verity - meh" not "meg"!

I quite like Meg!

Sessy19 · 02/03/2019 09:46

Love Sadie (my goddaughters name ❤️) and Nancy. Not a fan of Lydia (awful girl at school 30yrs ago! 🙄)
Larosa is a surname to me.
Eloise and Verity very different style, not keen. Hallie and Mabel...yak.

Not keen on any of your boy names, we have very different styles. Tobias is okish, but Toby is less pretentious. Albie is awful, as are Lennon and Bryson. Caleb is maybe passable...
Isiah, nope.

fleshmarketclose · 02/03/2019 09:55

I like Caleb, Nancy and Verity best. I don't like Bryson, Albie, Hallie or Larosa.

TatianaLarina · 02/03/2019 10:11

Roman is great. Laiken sounds like a food brand. Much prefer Nancy.

Icklepup · 03/03/2019 17:21

Nancy
Lennon

Icklepup · 03/03/2019 17:22

Oh, I like Roman too

IVEgottheDECAF · 03/03/2019 17:29

Love Lyla and Verity, and Caleb

Vestlandet · 03/03/2019 22:52

Verity, Eloise, Mabel for girls

Only Tobias for boys
