Favorite Greek names for a girl!

Greek names are beautiful, but it's so hard to find one that can actually work for a person in real life. It's not like I can name a kid Aphrodite or Nereida, even if I really want to :( (If there are actually parents out here that named their kid that, then you're AWESOME and have my full respect)

So anyway, are there any Greek girl names that can actually be used on a girl? I'm thinking of Thalia right now, cuz I think it looks so pretty and sounds elegant as well, but I'm up to suggestions😍

I really like the more traditional Greek names - Athena, Hera, Persephone, Penelope, Ariadne etc

Elektra! Absolutely Elektra! I have met one and was absolutely bowled over by the name. Would have put it at the top of my list but we have zero Greek connections and it seemed a bit too Greek to get away with otherwise. Anyone with Greek heritage should snap it up!!

I know a Cypriot girl called Kleopatra, which may be a little much for you - she gets Kleo a lot though

Lovely names! I got to know some really cool names here, thank you! So far my favorites are Altha, Eleni, and Cassandra. Thinking of creating a post soon to make a poll😄
