Ronan is Irish so I wouldn't use it without Irish heritage so, by default, Rowan but I wouldn't choose either if I was expecting now.

Why is Ronan alwful?

I get the question about boyzone, but still get our a little bit theres a few other famous Ronan's i can name Ronan o'gara for one.

Its a trational irish name meaning small seal.

Its actually a nice tradional name.

I really like Ronan - so that's my first choice. Rowan is okay, though the only ones I've known have been girls.

For no reason at all, I prefer Rhonan to Ronan. Or what about Roman. Rowan is more often a girls name now.

I thought Rowan was a boy's name that some people use for girls - I only know male Rowans.
