Apifany, spelt just like thatHmm

HPLikecraft · 06/02/2019 00:54

Lots of these names are from other cultures or countries, though, so whilst they may be “unusual” here, they’re real names and common elsewhere.

Bodhi and Rocco (amongst others) have cropped up quite a few times on this thread... no really so unusual then!

ChampooPapi · 06/02/2019 09:54

There was an 'Air' at a baby bounce I went to where you sing a song to introduce your baby.

I am interested to know how it was spelt and if it's a cultural name, perhaps Irish or a European name I'd never heard of

Hairgician · 06/02/2019 19:57

Not at a playgroup but at a salon i worked in years ago. A mum was in with her 2 boys, 1 who was called Tarquin. She mustnt have liked him very much.

Seeing Magenta written down reminds me of my cousin’s boyfriend’s flat mate at uni. His dad told him to paint the flat and just to do the entire place in magenta. He was telling my cousin, who thought it was quite a bold move and said ‘magenta? The whole flat in magenta?’ The lad said that was definitely what he said. Then the penny dropped and my cousin said ‘are you sure he didn’t say magnolia?’ 😂
